Delaware, Ohio Photographer: A Harrington Haunted Tour

As you drive up the winding road, past a local golf course, you would never expect the sight you see. At the top of a steep, tree-lined, winding road rests Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, KY.

You are greeted by the gargoyle statues that guard the former tuberculosis hospital, which operated from the 1920s to the 1960s.

In recent years, the abandoned building has earned notoriety by appearing on Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, Scariest Places On Earth, and Most Haunted, to name a few.

On this particular night, myself, my husband, and a few of our bravest friends had the opportunity to spend the night in this ridiculous place! Why? Because we want to see a ghost!! (Yes, I know I'm weird!) :)

Yes, I am a little strange at times, but I also look at touring this old, historic building as a great photographic opportunity. Were there great places to take photos? Absolutely. Enjoy! Were there ghosts? Not so sure about that one. I have to admit, I was disappointed once again that I didn't see, hear, or smell a ghost. But, I had a lot of fun anyway!! Maybe next time! Enjoy the photos!

Delaware, Ohio Senior Photographer: Andrew - Class of 2012!

Also this weekend, I had the pleasure of taking Andrew's senior pictures. It was another perfect weather day (the rain missed us!) and I could not have had a more beautiful location for the session. Their friends opened up their beautiful home to us, and it had EVERYTHING a photographer could possibly want if they created their own "dream studio." I joked that they may see me lurking in their neighborhood and backyard with future clients. Hehe! Too bad it's all the way down in Mason, OH, or I would! :)

Enjoy Andrew's pics. He was such a great model! He was great to work with and willing to pose anywhere I put him! And, he was a total natural! :) He plans to study music performance (french horn - could you guess!?) when he goes to college. Best wishes for your senior year!!

I think this is such a great portrait in black and white!! Yearbook photo??

With his mom, Susan.

One of my favorites with the french horn!

I think it's going to be really tough to pick your favorites for your large prints!!! Enjoy! Many, many more to come!

Delaware, Ohio Family Photographer: Sophie and Keegan Growing Up!

Time flies and the kiddos are growing up too fast! I cannot believe how big Keegan has gotten since I saw him only two months ago. He looks like a little man now! Sophie is just such a pretty little girl, and both kids are sweet as can be! They've both grown so much since our last session back in January for Keegan's first birthday. We had our family session last weekend at Cox Arboretum. The weather was gorgeous!! The forecast was predicting rain and storms, but we had beautiful skies and a nice breeze! Enjoy the preview!

WOW - someone sure looks like his Daddy, Chris!! :) And, look at those blue eyes!!

We ran into a Disney Princess at the park. :)

They are so sweet to one another! Let's hope that lasts!

Probably my favorite pic of Sophie yet!

I love this pic of Beth and Sophie! This should be your FB profile pic! :) Like mother, like daugther. And, you cannot deny Sophie is Beth's little "mini-me"!!

Columbus, Ohio Wedding Photographer: Erika and Kevin Tie the Knot! Part 3

I just had way too many pics of this couple that I loved. So, here is the last set of the preview. Stay tuned to my Facebook page for little photo reveals here and there until their photos are all ready for them in a few weeks.

During the ceremony, they had a photo from our engagement session on the TV over their heads. I couldn't resist a follow-up shot!

Super cute!!

Love the sunset light in these next two pics!

I loved this casual pic! Hopefully they are lounging in chairs on the beach, enjoying their honeymoon, as I write this!!
