Dayton, Ohio Family Photographer: Welcome Baby Oliver and Proud Big Brother Parker!

This past weekend I paid my cousin Becky and her family a visit. It was my first time getting to see their house and to spend a little time with just-barely-week-old Oliver Henry. I love the name and he's so cute! Big brother Parker is so helpful, doting, and proud of his little brother. It's just adorable. Parker and I had a conversation about photos before we began and he told me that Oliver won't be able to smile for the photos yet because he doesn't have teeth!! Lol! He is too funny! Becky wanted to be sure we gave Parker plenty of attention, since he needed his three-year old pictures still for this year. He's grown so much since his two-year old pictures. He was SUCH a good model, always willing to pose and smile!

And... introducing Baby Oliver!!

With his Mommy, Becky.

With her boys... Daddy, Darin, volunteers at the OSU games and he couldn't miss the OSU vs. Michigan game that afternoon!

We took Parker outside for some shots around their house. It was way too cold for babies... or anyone for that matter, outside.

Dayton, Ohio Wedding Photographer: Eric & Phylicia Get Hitched! Part II

And... now it's time for Part II of Eric and Phylicia's wedding. These are definitely my favorites from the day!!

I always love the shot of the groom anxiously awaiting his bride. And Adam is always in charge of getting the first shot of the bride coming in. Now that's teamwork! :)

Adam was rocking the ceremony shots! He has a good vantage point with his height!

Adam had a great view of "the kiss!"

The beautiful cake from ele'.

After the ceremony, we took a quick car trip out to Canal Lock Park for some fun photos! I'm so glad we went... these turned out great!

I told Phylicia to work it for the camera and for Eric to oogle in the background.

And, then it was Eric's turn to... er... work it...? :) Lol!

Don't worry - I'd never forget the spirit fingers!

This is a dip to be envied by men everywhere! Perfection!

The first dance...

Another first dance shot courtesy of Adam.

Hope you enjoy!

Columbus, Ohio Family Photographer: Meet My Friends, the "P" Family!

I don't know what happened yesterday weather-wise. We went from foggy dreary day on Saturday, to beautiful, warm, and sunny yesterday. Today we're back to dreary, cold, and super windy!! At least we got one nice day in there.

So, Sunday morning was spent with the "P" Family. Mom, Sharmaine, has been one of my best (and first) friends since I moved to Columbus in 2006. We trained together at my first job in Columbus, and eventually we both moved on from there, and now we work at CSCC together!! We've been talking about doing family photos forever, so I'm glad it finally happened. I love the location we choose. We were originally going to go downtown, but last minute they mentioned Easton, where they like to spend a lot of time shopping. So, we walked around there for a while, then headed to downtown Gahanna for a few final shots. Enjoy! It was a fun afternoon. Sharr and I had fun!! Not too sure what the guys thought of it! :)

In front of Sharr's favorite store. She has the cutest Tiffany's bracelet, of which I am envious. :)

This family is too adorable!

One of my favorites thanks to Eddie Bauer.

Absolute. Favorite.

Sharr and Mike had a little fun while the boys got ice cream in Gahanna. I LOVE this pic! Great, genuine smiles!

Dayton, Ohio Wedding Photographer: Eric & Phylicia Get Hitched! Part I

Despite the gloomy, foggy day yesterday, we brought out the "sunshine" with our wedding photos with Eric and Phylicia. You may remember Eric... he was Best Man in Ashley and Sam's wedding last year. I remember him telling me last December that he would be getting married next. And, here we are a year later!! (And P.S. - Sam and Ashley have an ADORABLE little one!!) I'm so happy I got to work with this family again. It is always a pleasure. The day went by in a flurry but we had a blast shooting the wedding. I think we took all these pics in record time. Here is a sneak peek, more to come...

Not sure what's happening here... but I like it!! :)

Beautiful silk bouquet from Freeze Frame... it smelled so fragrant too!

Phylicia was a stunning bride!

Bridesmaid Christina claims she's never modeled. She sure seemed to have all the "Next Top Model" poses naturally. Thanks to Adam for this great shot!

Getting ready to head in the hall for the ceremony!

Stay tuned for more great pics in Part II!!
