Delaware, Ohio Photographer: Happy Holidays!!

I wanted to take a moment to wish all my clients from 2009 a Happy Holiday! I was taking a moment to reflect back on 2009 and realized that I had 30 special clients last year (half of which I think I worked with in the last 3 months!)! That just amazes me and makes me SO happy! I love you all for all you have done over the past year to help me grow my business exponentially. And to imagine that this is a part-time gig! I can only hope that 2010 is just as awesome as this past year.

I truly hope more weddings, families, puppies, and babies are in my photographing future!! Happy Holidays from the Harrington Family! See you next year!

Dayton, Ohio Wedding Photograper: Ashley & Sam Part II

And... now what you've been waiting for. The wedding ceremony!

Ashley was such a beautiful bride and her brother looked so proud walking her down the aisle.

Ashley and Sam were so cute during the ceremony, holding hands, giggling, and looking at each other. Awww...

I swear Ashley was just *beaming* throughout the whole ceremony!

Thanks to my super duper assistant/husband Adam for this shot from the balcony.
.

You may kiss the bride...

So happy as they were heading off to their celebration.

Everyone packed into their "party bus" by Beats Feet. I loved the faux fireplace and their driver was so courteous and professional!

Before the reception, we were off to the Dayton Art Institute. I just LOVE the colors!

And someone (one of the girls) had this great idea! They were so cold they took the guys' jackets. I'm not sure which guy had the idea to hold the flowers though... too cute! ;) Sam just looks stunning in that shawl!

Time for some favorites!

The buffet was catered by Rob's and everything looked and tasted amazing! The alfredo and macaroni are the best! The cake was just gorgeous and delicious, by the way. From nowhere else, but the amazing ele'.

Kudos to Adam for this great capture. How precious is she?!

The lights and tunes were great! And not only does the DJ keep the party going, but he also break dances! This is one of my favorite reception photos of all-time with a little help once again from fisheye.

Parting shot! I love this pic of Ashley! She was getting wild with the Welch's Grape juice!

I wish you two the best and hopefully we'll have some more photos together in our future!

Dayton, Ohio Wedding Photographer: Ashley & Sam Part I

If you can remember waaayyy back to the early spring, I did a photo session with the "R" Family - seven kids, spouses/significant others, and dogs. Then, later I had an engagement session with Ashley and Sam. Well finally their big wedding day came! I feel like I've known them forever now! And I can't thank them both enough for being my biggest promoters and getting my business (specifically wedding business) going in the Dayton area. You two rock!

I was so honored to get to shoot their wedding today, and it was nice to see so many familiar faces (and a previous Harrington Bride - Leanne). I was just so excited about their winter wonderland pics that I just had to stay up late and work on a post. I couldn't have imagined better weather in December, especially after the below zero wind chills we had earlier this week. The day was perfect and everything and everyone was beautiful!

Here are some peeks at my favorites! Enjoy!

I loved Ashley's little snowflake jewelry and her pretty shoes.

Sam, the groom, and his best man/brother Eric.

The handsome groom.

The guys - what good sports with their "jazz hands." Sorry guys! Just had to post it!

The "posse."

Ashley was a gorgeous bride!! Love this pic. She had the great idea of getting a few shots at the Dayton Art Institute (more to come from there in Part II).

The girls doing their "My Space Pic" poses.

And this is one of my absolute favorites of the girls... the sun setting was just perfect with the light. They all look so happy despite the fact that they were all freezing! Thanks for being such good sports, girls!

Her bouquet was just beautiful and wintry.

I LOVE all the bling on her rings and his was just so shiny I could see my reflection (which was edited out). :)

And finally, it was time for the ceremony at Our Lady of Mercy Church.

Stay tuned for ceremony pics and the bride and groom!!

Storybook Albums: Mary and Kevin

Recently I have been designing my little heart out. You may also remember Mary & Kevin from their October wedding. I just finished designing their storybook album, too, and theirs is on its way! It should arrive any day! Enjoy!

I just loved all the pictures on their bridal party pages.

The last page is a fun one! Everyone looks so happy!

Thanks you two! I hope you enjoy your "goodie box" that's on its way!

Storybook Albums: Nicole and Allen

You may remember Nicole and Allen from a while back. They have all their wedding photos already, and they've patiently been waiting for me to design their storybook album. It is ordered and on its way! Here is a sneak peek for you two!

Enjoy!

The bride was just soooooo pretty.

I love all the shots of the girls, too.

Yay! They're married!

So sweet!

Dayton, Ohio Newborn Photographer: Abigail

Today was a great day. This session has special sentimental value because thanks to Facebook, I had recently gotten back in touch with one of my best friends from high school, Shelby. I haven't seen or talked to Shelby in probably five years or more until she "friended" me on Facebook. (Yes, I'm a bad friend because I've lost touch with everyone from high school.) :(

Hence, our session today. I found out Shelby just had her first baby in September, and we just had to meet for photos. It was great getting back together and meeting her cute family! I hope we get to do it again soon. Now, meet Abigail Elizabeth Lynn. She will be two months old in just two days.

Abigail's grandmother crocheted her dress, bib, hat, and booties. So cute!

This is Abigail with her big brother Malachi, Shelby's step-son. He seems like such a loving big brother.

And Abigail got to be the first to model my new infant prop- the teddy bear hat. Super cute!!

Thanks for getting together Shelby! We'll have to do it again soon.

Columbus, Ohio Family Photographer: Too Cute Not To Post

I'm working on the images of Anthoni and Jackson tonight, and I think I just came across my new FAVORITE photo. How did I miss this the first time?? Black & white conversion usually gives me fits, but somehow I think I hit the mark right on this one!

LOVE THIS!

Columbus, Ohio Family Photographer: Anthoni & Jackson

What another BEAUTIFUL late fall afternoon. I enjoyed the last few hours of sunshine today with a great family. I met two little boys who absolutely loved hamming it up for the camera! Their Uncle Brian bid on a Harrington Photography package at a silent auction that benefits Recreation Unlimited, a non-profit organization that provides recreational activites for people with physical and developmental disabilities. Brian, thank you so much for your donation!!

Now, meet the family... This is one of the very first pics I took and the boys were already smiling ready to take pictures. Meet Jackson and Anthoni...

Here is the sweet family, joined with Mom Jessica, Brian's sister. I love this family photo, again the boys are all smiles...

When he was put in the tree, Jackson didn't know whether to cry or smile, so he did a little of both. I think I caught him during the smile. :)

I just loved his expression in this one. It's almost as if he's saying, "Eureka!!" He just found the most amazing specimen.

Another great shot. For some reason the big log was hilarious to the boys and we had a big "say cheese" fest while I snapped away.

My hubby was sneaking a peek at my proofs and liked this one. This was my last shot of the day... I never know what to do with the sun flare, but I like how this turned out.

It was great to meet all four of you today! Hope you enjoy the photos!
