This afternoon my boys and I had a photo session on our front porch. And, this year, it was our first off-leash front porch session. They were the best behaved dogs! Especially my little Booce. They will do anything to please the mommy!

Cincinnati Wedding Photographer: Mary & Kevin Part II

Welcome to Part II of Mary & Kevin's big day. Finally, the couple is united on the altar, and you can see how happy they are.

An awesome shot of the interior from the choir balcony thanks to Vicki.

I liked the spotlight effect.

Such a beautiful church!!

The Mr. and Mrs.

One of my favorites! I love the big, old church doors.

My favorite pic... so sweet.

The fabulous decor and table settings, put together by Tres Chic. Party Pleasers DJs kept the party going all afternoon. They always do a great job.

The reception was at 20th Century Theater, which I HIGHLY recommend to any couple! It is so unique and has some amazing places for photos. And, of course you must get a photo with the marquee.

Great final parting shot!

I hope you two enjoy all your images. There will be plenty for you to choose from!

Cincinnati, Ohio Wedding Photographer: Mary & Kevin Part I

This weekend I was honored to capture the memories at the wedding of Mary and Kevin. Both Mary and Kevin (and their families) are very nice people. You can just tell how close everyone is. The ceremony and reception were just beautiful! The day went off without a hitch thanks to the help of my favorite wedding planners Kristen & Rick of Tres Chic Event Planning. Mary and Kevin - I hope you enjoy all the photos of the details. Part II to come soon!

The church was absolutely gorgeous!! (Reminded me of where I got married!) I was lucky to get to have my friend Vicki assist me for the day and she captured some great interior shots of the church. Images to come soon...

The flowers were just so colorful!

Loved those shoes!

The guys had style.

Love all the colors in the background. Great idea, Kevin!

The pictures of the girls are so cute. You can tell they're very close to one another.

You would never know it's 50 degrees with a chilly breeze!

Columbus, Ohio Photographer: Aiden & Emma

On Tuesday, I enjoyed a beautiful fall afternoon at the park with Aiden, his mommy, and cute little pug, Emma. The weather was finally perfect fall weather and the leaves were in full color. Gorgeous!!!

I love this cute little pose. I don't think he even knew he was posing, I just caught him at the right moment.

Aiden and I played a lot of "peek-a-boo" to get a smile. Either that, or the threat of the Tickle Monster attack. :)

Adorable!! He looks so grown up here.

Emma was the BEST behaved dog I've ever met!! She stayed by our side the whole afternoon and every time I got the camera out she wanted HER picture taken!!

My favorite! I always love a boy and his dog.

Hope you like the photos!!

Columbus, Ohio Pet Photographer: Scamp & Heather

We are finally back from our amazing Caribbean cruise! I have a few fun photos from the trip, but those will be postponed until I make it through mid-November. I'm booked solid on photo sessions and weddings for the rest of October, but a break will come by Nov. 15th... so I think...

After our trip, Ohio did not give us a very nice "welcome home" with her 40-degree, gloomy weather. Our aging bodies are paying the price for it, too. The change from 90-degrees to 40-degrees did a number on my neck and back muscles and landed me at the Urgent Care this morning. I was having spasms and shooting pain throughout my whole body, but as I always say... I will NEVER miss a photo session. Hence, my session today with Scamp and Heather.

We had originally planned for a session this morning (frost still on the ground!) so we postposed until the afternoon. I brought my lovely assistant/hubby Adam along to cart around my heavy bags and lenses since I couldn't do too much bending, heavy lifting, or even driving.

We had a great time letting Scamp explore the neighborhood. He is so well-trained! I am so impressed! First we had to take a photo of him in his adorable scarf on Heather's cute couch. I love pet owners who dress up their pets as I do.

A cute pose for their Christmas cards... in front of a Christmas tree. Is it that time of year already?

WARNING: Cute stuff ahead!!

Does it get any cuter than this? Thank you fisheye lens.

Haha! It was my husband's idea!

What a cute portrait!!

Thanks for having us over for the session! We really enjoyed it!!

Dayton, Ohio Wedding Photographer: Nicole & Allen Part II

And the exciting conclusion to Part I... It's super late right now, and I have to be up by 6am to catch the next flight out of town! Off to the Bahamas! So I will be short on words tonight! Nicole & Allen - I hope you are having a great honeymoon and I hope you love your pics when you get back! Thank you SO much for having me capture your wedding day. It was absolutely GORGEOUS!!

Love, love, LOVE this pic of the bride and her dad (my uncle Matt). It is just so darn cute.

Fisheye lens + hot rod = L.O.V.E.

I just saw the look in Nicole's eye and knew she would forget her vows right at this moment... and she did. It definitely lightened the mood!

This is Nicole with our grandmother, Nan. As soon as I took this one, I said, "That's going on the blog!!"

Cake and catering by Mrs. B's. Food was great! They had these little apple cinnamon rolls with dinner that were out of this world. And the cake was pumpkin spice. Yummo!

A sweet moment during their first dance as husband and wife...

I can't wait to finish these photos, but for now... I am on a week long hiatus to the sand and sun! I will catch you all when I return!
