Delaware, Ohio Event Photographer: Nicole's Birthday Bash!!

Last weekend, I was honored to be the event photographer for Nicole's big birthday party! Her partner, Renee' contacted me and planned the wonderful event. She had every little detail just perfect...

Nicole and Renee' with their brothers.

I loved this sweet smile between the two of them!

A special family heirloom Nicole was gifted for her birthday. I could tell this was really special to her! :)

There were lots of smiles and a few tears during the champagne toast!

Their friends.

Their families.

Thank you so much for inviting me to capture the memories of this important day for such a special person!! Enjoy the pics!

Delaware, Ohio Pet Photographer: Frisbee Dog Season Begins!

Finally, it's our first free weekend with nothing on the calendar but time at home and relaxing! The dogs were happy with not having to travel, and we were glad the rain held off for most of the day. We got all our spring planting done - I will need to grab some shots of the flowers and veggies tomorrow (oops!). We enjoyed the Delaware Arts Festival (and festival food!) and spent some time in the yard. Frisbee season for Brutus has officially begun, and he couldn't be more elated about it. Check out his action shots!

Drool is flying everywhere! :)

(Yes, he caught it!)

And, a Tators action shot! Lol.

Adam's action shot on a break from frisbee. I think he wears out before Brutus does! :)

Brutus was finall worn down enough that he could pose for a group photo with his brother. Tators loves the camera!

He has such a great smile! But, he'll only hold the pose until the shutter clicks, then he runs over for his treat. And, repeat...

Pretty much my favorite pic of Tators and his Daddy!! *LOVE*

Another cute moment... Tators hardly ever shows affection, but he was lovin' this. He actually pranced around the yard after these pics. He knew I was watching, too. :)

Hehe!

Delaware, Ohio Family Photographer: Mother's Day

Last weekend, I traveled solo to Dayton to celebrate Mother's Day. Adam was really sick and the dogs were exhausted, so they stayed home to rest. I was super excited to give my Mom and Grandmothers their homemade Mother's Day gifts this year. I decided to get crafty and I think I found my new artistic calling - mosaic tile art! Here are the three vases I made (I wanted to keep them all for myself!) And, I already have my first order... I should get on that! :)

I also made my Mom and MIL (and myself this time!) a flower pot pen jar. Her kitchen theme is sunflowers and she is always using pens and paper, so I thought they'd look cute on the counter. And, the "WOW" card is an inside joke... every year she would get cards for her birthday and turn the "MOM" upside down and say I made it out to "WOW." And, funny thing, this year she did the SAME THING, and then opened the card! :)

Grandma seemed quite impressed with the vase!

Grandpa came out to enjoy some sunshine and "supervise" our yard work. I had to get a shot with him in our aviator glasses. :)

Mom always plants beautiful flower pots for Mother's Day for both of my Grandmothers.

I love the shot of Grandpa and Grandma. This was his "give us a big smile" look! Haha!

Then I made him take off the hat and glasses, and this was the "natural" smile.

I came home Sunday night to a super clean house and well-rested family. I had to get Brutus' pic with his gifts from an OSU Canine Congnition study that he participated in last week. He had to solve little puzzles for treats and he did a great job! I always take Tyson's pics with his "winnings", so here is Brutus in his first prize pic!

More dog pics from this weekend to come soon!!!

Delaware, Ohio Children's Photographer: Wyatt's Second Birthday

I have been so privileged to get to know the "E" family over the past two years, so I was excited that they asked me to capture the memories at little Wyatt's second birthday party. It's hard to believe how much he's grown since his first birthday. He is so big now, running around everywhere, talking, and interacting. He's at a fun age where he wants to take in every bit of his surroundings! Enjoy the birthday and family photos from the party!

We had to bribe him into getting into his new tent with a little cake.

Whoooaaa! This must be an AWESOME present!

I thought these family photos were very appropriate to show the wiggly two-year-old. I enjoy them a LOT!

Sweet Gracie... what an awesome dog she is!
