Delaware, Ohio Family Photographer: Mother's Day

Last weekend, I traveled solo to Dayton to celebrate Mother's Day. Adam was really sick and the dogs were exhausted, so they stayed home to rest. I was super excited to give my Mom and Grandmothers their homemade Mother's Day gifts this year. I decided to get crafty and I think I found my new artistic calling - mosaic tile art! Here are the three vases I made (I wanted to keep them all for myself!) And, I already have my first order... I should get on that! :)

I also made my Mom and MIL (and myself this time!) a flower pot pen jar. Her kitchen theme is sunflowers and she is always using pens and paper, so I thought they'd look cute on the counter. And, the "WOW" card is an inside joke... every year she would get cards for her birthday and turn the "MOM" upside down and say I made it out to "WOW." And, funny thing, this year she did the SAME THING, and then opened the card! :)

Grandma seemed quite impressed with the vase!

Grandpa came out to enjoy some sunshine and "supervise" our yard work. I had to get a shot with him in our aviator glasses. :)

Mom always plants beautiful flower pots for Mother's Day for both of my Grandmothers.

I love the shot of Grandpa and Grandma. This was his "give us a big smile" look! Haha!

Then I made him take off the hat and glasses, and this was the "natural" smile.

I came home Sunday night to a super clean house and well-rested family. I had to get Brutus' pic with his gifts from an OSU Canine Congnition study that he participated in last week. He had to solve little puzzles for treats and he did a great job! I always take Tyson's pics with his "winnings", so here is Brutus in his first prize pic!

More dog pics from this weekend to come soon!!!
