Delaware, Ohio Wedding Photographer: Erika & Kevin's Thank You Cards

Shortly after Erika and Kevin's wedding, they contacted me with an awesome idea!! They wanted me to design custom thank-you cards to send to their friends and family. I will admit - this is something I never thought about doing. I've done Save the Date and holiday cards, but this was a great, new idea that I plan to tell all my future brides and grooms about! (Thanks for the idea, you two!)

Delaware, Ohio Pet Photographer: Harrington Pet Antics

This past week, a photographer friend of mine - Bryan Fenstermacher - was SO kind to allow me to borrow what he calls his "holy trinity of lenses." I'm looking to buy some new gear this fall and he offered for me to try-it-before-you-buy-it. My plan was that I was really looking at an 85mm f/1.2L lens. But, now I feel like I need all three!!! My favorite ended up being the 35mm f/1.4L lens, so we will see. I only had my doggy and kitty subjects to shoot this week, so you will see them up to their regular antics in the pics that follow. I think they speak for themselves and show you about how much work I get done on the days I work from home. In the end, there may be some new lenses in my future... :)

It looks like I picked way too many pics again, so I'll be breaking this into three blog posts! Here are photos from the second half of Lydia and Derek's big day. All of their vendors did an amazing job at the reception, too!
