Columbus, Ohio Photographer: My Boys

This weekend my husband and I (well, mostly my husband) took on a major landscaping project in our backyard. He did the bed-shaping, de-sodding, trimming, and digging. I did the designing, purchasing, dictating, and planting. :) Once we were done with the project Sunday night I thought it would be a great time for some pictures of my boys in our nice yard. I also took the chance to capture some of the summertime beauty in my own backyard - those photos to come in a future post.

My boy Brutus is completely OBSESSED with playing frisbee. He never lets it hit the ground. I think we threw frisbee constantly all day on Saturday in between digging and planting.

My other boy Tyson - aka. Tator Tots, Tadurs, and Tots - is never unwilling to pose for a photo for me. He even loves to put on his smile - so photogenic! He's posing in front of the new landscape bed that he's not allowed to sniff, pee, or dig in.

Probably my favorite capture all day with my other boy - hubby/assistant, Adam! Caught that very rare "moochie" that Tots sometimes likes to give when he thinks no one is looking! Caught ya!

Two handsome guys!

Brutus likes to do his own thing...

Ahh... yes, his best friend, the frisbee.

And to leave you with a sneak preview of my next post... photos of the beautiful flowers in my yard this summer and the great shots my new lens can pull off! This looks to me like a computer desktop background, and hence it now is on my laptop!

Ever looked at a purple cone flower THISCLOSE? Although my 24-70mm is not a macro lens, it takes pretty rockin' "macro" shots!

I wish my dogs would play catch. Murphy is learning to "go get the ball" but he just can't bring it all the way back to me. Maybe one day! Maybe I should let your dogs teach my dogs! Ha-ha. What a crazy time that would be!
