On Saturday, I had the pleasure of capturing the wedding day of Leanne and Josh. It was the perfect day outside - sunshine, blue sky, and fluffy, white clouds. The couple looked gorgeous and the details were beautiful. Thanks for letting me (and Adam) share in your day. Here are some sneak peeks of the great photos that are coming. I am absolutely in LOVE with how the photos are turning out. I hope you enjoy!
WARNING: Tons of photos on the way!!! I was lucky to narrow down the 2,200+ images I took to my favorite 600. Here are just a few! Leanne and Josh - I think you're going to have a hard time choosing. :)
The flowers were beautiful!! Florals by
Oberers.
I think Leanne just looks *stunning* in these pictures. My jaw dropped as soon as I downloaded this first shot because that gold/amber sparkle in her eye is all natural - no Photoshop tricks here! Hair by B. Douglas Salon in Huber Heights and make-up by Bangs in Centerville.
The handsome groom awaiting his bride.
The wedding party had style and sass...
And now comes the point in time when I rave about my new camera gear. About two weeks ago I finally caved and made the investment in the Canon 5D Mark II camera, the 24-70mm f/2.8L lens, and the 70-200mm f/2.8L IS lens. And WOW! I now have to say it was the best investment/decision I've made!! I am so impressed with the sharpness of the images throughout the ceremony. I didn't put that 70-200mm bad boy down!
That awesome zoom can give me pictures like *this.*
And *this* (from the back of the church)... I just didn't know what I was missing until I tried it, now I won't be able to live without it!
This is just too adorable!
The gorgeous, delicious cake was from
Ele' in West Carrollton... always wonderful.
The catering was also wonderful, provided by the
Amber Rose Restaurant in Dayton. The mashed potatoes are THE BEST.
I have to give my awesome assistant/husband credit for the next two. He got this awesome capture of the couple.
And he served as my "spy" across the street from the church with my favorite zoom lens.
I loved this shot because of the colorful lights the DJ used. Makes for great photography. Music, lights, disco ball, and fog provided by Pete's Dancin' DJ Service from Huber Heights.
Congratulations and thanks again you two! I can't wait to share the rest of the images with you!
