Delaware, Ohio Family Photographer: "K" Family Photos at the Fraze Pavilion

Just before the cold and snow hit this week, I was able to photograph the "K" family - Bonnie, DJ, and Henry - on a brisk, but beautiful fall day. We took photos at Lincoln Park, the area surrounding the Fraze Pavilion, which is near and dear to their hearts. I had taken their portraits in 2011 and 2012 for Henry's first birthday, if you'd like to look back. They are lucky - they always get the most beautiful, sunny days for photos!

Anyway, it was great to see how much Henry has grown up. And, it was great to see the whole family again. You can definitely see how close the three of them are. They take such great candid shots - always a lot of happiness and smiles in the moment. Enjoy their preview!

Delaware, Ohio Family Photographer: The "E" Family at Carriage Hill Metro Park

The weather this weekend was beautiful for photos!! I was excited to catch up with the "E" family - Kimberly, Pete, Wyatt, and Gracie - for their annual family photos. This time, we went to Carriage Hill Metro Park. It was sooooooo beautiful there by the lake. Case in point, below!  Kimberly always does the best job picking great photo spots in Dayton.


We spent most of our time around the lake area.  Then, we headed towards the little primitive houses.  It seems like that area was a photographer's paradise!  They closed the gate early, so we just grabbed a few shots outside of the barns.  Enjoy the photos!


I cannot believe how big Wyatt has grown.  Check out these images from our first session together in 2009!  And, Wyatt was still so little at our session in 2010 at Young's Dairy.  I think both of those sessions were terribly cold and windy; then we had a nice, warm session at Wegerzyn Gardens in 2011.  And, last year's session was at Aullwood Audubon Center.  I was very warm at our session this year!  I love this fall weather we're having!

Delaware, Ohio Children's Photographer: Brooklynne Turns One!

I am so happy that I was able to reschedule both of my rained-out weekend sessions from last weekend. The fall weather has been gorgeous this week! Last night was no exception! I got to catch up with Brooklynne and her parents Steph and Tim. I last photographed Brooklynne when she was six months old. It's amazing how fast kids grow up. She's a cute little lady now! Enjoy that adorable grin of hers!!

Delaware, Ohio Pet & Family Photographer: Heather & Scamp - The Sweetest Doggy Ever!

Welcome to my FAVORITE time of the year! I think this is always my clients' favorite time of the year, too, because this is when business tends to pick up! And, every fall I always enjoy working with some of my regular clients. Scamp and Heather are two of my long-time clients. I only see Scamp once a year, but we're old friends every time we get together for photos. He has also adopted a two-click rule: after two shutter-clicks (photos), he thinks he gets his treat. So cute! :) I think I got some great smiles from him, as always. And, Heather looks great in the purple! I love jewel-tones. Beautiful color with the fall backdrop.

The photos were taken at Highbanks Metro Park - my favorite fall spot. We had to get creative with the shots because doggies are limited to certain areas of the park. Thanks for trusting me to take you to a new location, Heather! Enjoy!

Delaware, Ohio Newborn Photographer: Meet Baby Alina!

This past weekend I got to meet the most darling little girl, baby Alina. Earlier this summer, I had taken parents Soumya and Ganesh's maternity photos. And, before you know it, Alina was here! She was the perfect little angel during our session. She slept and posed so nicely. I even caught a little smile from her. Enjoy the photos!
