Delaware, Ohio Cake Smash Photographer: Little Koralay's First Birthday!

Today, I had the pleasure of taking photos of precious little Koralay for her first birthday! Her mommy, Miss D, is my son's date-night babysitter and he just adores her. What would we do without her?? :) So, I was very excited when she asked me to take photos of her daughter! It was fun to get to meet her little one. Oh- I just love the pink and purple! Her mommy had her all dressed up for her session. It took her a little while to warm up to me, but then she gave us some great smiles! Enjoy the photos and the cake smash!

Love this photo of mommy and daughter!

The birthday girl!! She loved sitting in her princess chair. That's when she really started showing off for me! Patty-cake, peekaboo, and "so big"!

Oh... my... gosh... she just loved Mr. Moosey, which we had laying around the house. So adorable, didn't know he'd become a prop in our session!

Beautiful Christmas dress!

Her mommy made this awesome sign for her!

Crack me up!! Love her toothy smile!

Time for the smash!!

Ohhh, my!  Such a mess!  Yet hardly a bite went into her mouth! :)

Hehehe! :)

And one more in black and white! I love how both images turned out - I couldn't choose! :)

Delaware, Ohio Family Photographer: Meet the "W" Family!

After this past week, I was a little worried that winter was on it's way to Ohio. Saturday was the coldest, rainiest, yuckiest day yet and I wasn't sure how it could possibly be dry, warm, and sunny for my photo session with the "W" family the next day. Well, I couldn't believe it when I woke up to one of the most beautiful days of the fall. It was just SO gorgeous for our evening session on Sunday. They could not have had a better day! I'm so glad it worked out. I enjoyed an evening at Blue Limestone Park here in Delaware with Michelle, David, and McKenzie... and baby brother on the way! Enjoy their fall family photos!

I cannot wait for the family to see all of the photos... There are so many cute ones of what I'll call "the many faces of McKenzie". She's such a cutie!

Delaware, Ohio Family Photographer: The "B" Twins Turn One!

It's hard to believe it's been six months since I've blogged!!! In fact, it's funny that my last blog of 2014 was of the "B" twins and family, and guess what?? They're one year old now!! So, it was time for our summer session. We met at Highbanks MetroPark on a beautiful evening after days and days of rain. I cannot believe how much everyone has grown. It's amazing to think back that I've been watching this family grown for the past three years. I first met Steph and Tim when they booked a first year package for little Brooklynne. Then, I was so happy they called me again when they had twins Jordan and Cole last year. Now, the kids are growing faster than ever! Enjoy some of the photos from our session! A big thank you to this wonderful family! I always enjoy our sessions!! I hope there are more in the future as the kids grow up, too! :)

The boys!

Cole was all smiles!

Jordan is more serious, but we got some smiles out of him! :)

Brooklynne was all smiles!! So adorable!

LOVE THIS!!!

The whole crew!

Three peas in a pod! :)

Delaware, OH Family Photographer: The "B" Twins - Double the Fun!

Time sure flew by this summer and fall! I cannot believe it was already time for my 6-month session with the "B" twins, Jordan and Cole!! They have grown up so big since I first met them in June for their newborn session.  These two are the most laid-back, easy-going kids I've EVER photographed!!  We were shooting away for almost two hours and I never once heard a complaint from either of them!  Not a peep!!  They are real professional models, I guess!  They looked so adorable in their hats and outfits.  And, if you think one baby in a basket is cute, try squeezing in two!  Double the cuteness!  Enjoy!!

Cole is a happy boy!
Jordan is just way too cute... it should be illegal! :)

Oh my goodness... I have no words for this... :)

So precious... Cole is getting some love from big sis Brooklynne.

The whole family, including mom and dad Steph and Tim.  What a great pic!!

I thought this looked too cute - Dad has his hands full! :)

Brooklynne is too precious!

And, again... I melt...  Happy Holidays!! :)

Delaware, Ohio Senior Portrait Photographer: Congrats to Derek - Class of 2015!

It's always refreshing to have a senior session after taking so many infant and toddler photos... they actually smile and look at the camera right when you ask them to! :) This weekend's session with Derek was fun, laid-back, easy, but very COLD!!! We had originally planned to meet on a beautiful fall day in October, but Derek had a sports injury so we had to push back his session or he would have been on crutches in every picture. And, we got in his session just in the nick of time... as snowflakes started to fall. If you're in Central Ohio, you know what the weather has been like since Sunday - snow and sub-zero wind chills! Anyway, Derek was hoping for a "fall look" to his images, and I think we were still able to find the little bit of fall color that was left. We had fun at one of his favorite childhood hangouts - Blue Limestone Park in Delaware. I hope you enjoy! Go Pacers!!!

This is a great shot in both color and black and white!!

This is one of my favorites!

A little fun in the creek...

Got a very nice smile out of him here! :)
