Delaware, Ohio Family Photographer: The "S" Family in Lebanon!

This weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing my cousin's beautiful family once again. The kids are just growing up so fast and have really turned into little models with all the posing they've done for me. :) Sophie will be going into second grade. Keegan is starting kindergarten. And, Nicolas just had his second birthday. Beth and Chris did a great job selecting their beautiful blue outfits for the session. I love the color against the bold train colors and the brick building. We took photos in their hometown of Lebanon. Some cool things to see down there! Enjoy!

Delaware, Ohio Senior Photographer: Jake's Senior Session - Class of 2015!

This weekend, I got to photograph Jake for his senior portraits. You may remember that I took his older brother Josh's senior photos, a few years back.  Jake had made an appearance in a few of those family photos, too!  So, now he is clearly a pro at the modeling thing!  He did a great job and was so agreeable to all of my suggestions!  I think his photos turned out GREAT!  We had fun just posing around their yard and neighborhood.


Right now Jake is enjoying playing high school lacrosse and hopes to go to Illinois Wesleyan for college.  He hopes to play lacrosse there and study pre-med.  Good luck and enjoy your senior year, Jake!!

Delaware, Ohio Wedding Photography: Barb & Doug Tie the Knot!

Last month, we were guests at my cousin Barb's wedding to Doug. My aunt and uncle, Rita and Bob, offered to shoot the wedding for them as their gift, and since it was only their second wedding as photographers, I offered to give them some assistance. And, as I was leaving to head out of town for the wedding, I decided to grab my camera gear, too. You know I just couldn't sit still through a wedding without taking a single photo!! I really had a great time giving directions (seems that comes naturally!) and not having the pressure of capturing every moment nor the massive amount of post-processing to do after the wedding. Rita and Bob did an excellent job. In fact, we make a great team! We should all do it again!


So, I had the chance to relax and capture some fun details at the amazing venue - Enchanted Village in Lebanon, Ohio. Enjoy a few of the details of the day.


Keegan and Sophie were literally the most adorable ring bearer and flower girl I've EVER seen!!  (You may recognize them from many, many photo shoots with me in the past!)

The flowers were gorgeous... especially the purple and green together.

Delaware, Ohio Family Photographer: The "S" Family Grows with Love!

It's hard to believe that "baby" Nicolas is close to celebrating his first birthday already! It seems like I just took his maternity and newborn photos! (Click the links to take a look back.)  I know that baby's first year flies by - I just experienced that myself, but time needs to slow itself down already! Nicolas is just the cutest little thing... I could pinch his little cheeks all day long! Enjoy the photos of Nicolas and his family! Everyone looked so great in the photos! He has two proud big sibs - Sophie and Keegan, too, and obviously his parents - Beth and Chris.
