Delaware, Ohio Children's Photographer: Baby Eva is 9 Months Old!

Time sure does fly by anymore!! I cannot believe I just had my 9 month session with little Alina, who her parents call Eva (so cute!). You may recall Soumya and Ganesh's maternity session or Eva's newborn session.  It seems like that was just yesterday!  Now, Eva is sitting, crawling, and smiling like a cutie pie!  I have loved watching her grow and getting to know the family.  They are all so sweet and kind.  Soumya's parents were visiting little Eva for the first time, and it was very important that they be a part of the photos.  They even brought me beautiful gifts from India and chocolates Saudi Arabia.  (Sooooo nice of them!)  The session was fun!  They had me laughing (and fortunately, Eva too!).

Delaware, Ohio Newborn Photographer: Twice the Love - Meet the Noah & Makayla!

I was so excited for my newborn session last weekend. It was a huge first for me - photographing twins! I was also so happy for our friends Nate and Maria in welcoming their two bundles of joy into the world - Noah and Makayla.  As I work on their photos, I keep thinking how amazing it is to be able to create life and to have a human being develop inside your body.  It's amazing how cool it is to be a mom and to know that you can grow (not only one, but two!) human beings inside your body.  Way to go, Maria!  Being a mom is the most awesome gift from God.  And, being a Dad is pretty awesome too, so I hear!  :)  Every day these kids will make you proud!  Nate and Maria are going to have their hands full as the kiddos grow, but they're also going to have twice the hugs, kisses, cuddles, imaginations, dreams, and fun, too!


But, enough sappy talk from me... back to business!  Photographing twins is hard work!  It is definitely a different dynamic than just one newborn.  So, I'm so glad Nate and Maria (and Noah and Makayla) were so patient with me as I pretended to know what I was doing.  :)  Hope you love all the cuteness!

Delaware, Ohio Children's Photographer: Avery's Cupcake Smash!

Today, I got to have my little friend Avery debut Harrington Photography's newest venture - cake smashes! She just turned one on December 21st and her mommy Beth (whom I work with at C-State) volunteered her to be my guinea pig! :) I'm so glad she did! I think the pictures turned out great, Avery enjoyed it, and I got to try out my new backdrops, stand, and flooring. What do you think?? I built the backdrop stand myself!

Cake smashes begin in 2014.  All sessions include one year portraits to start and then cake-smashing fun!  You provide the cake or cupcake and outfit, I provide the background, flooring, candle, clean-up, and great memories!  Enjoy Avery's cake smash from start to finish!

I love, love, love her handmade outfit and tutu!  When I saw this in Avery's birthday photos on FB, I knew she HAD to wear it for her one year photos with me.
